Vendex North Crosses the Pennines in 2019

In our round up of the 2018 Vendex North we alluded to the removal of  Vendex North from Manchester United’s Old Trafford to Elland Road in Leeds. Trade Events have now announced it officially with the rationale as below.

Vendex North is relocating to The Centenary Pavilion, Leeds United Football Club in 2019, having outgrown its previous location. The multi-million-pound Centenary Pavilion is one of the biggest conference and events centres in the North of England and will accommodate the largest number of stands at Vendex to date.

Jenny and Phil Reynolds, directors of Trade Events, the events company behind Vendex, are looking forward to greeting visitors and exhibitors to Leeds on 30 October 2019.

Phil says, “We are excited to announce the relocation of Vendex North from Manchester to Leeds. Exhibitors have been disappointed not to be able to secure stands for the show in recent years as space has sold out quickly so a move to a larger venue seemed a logical step, although two thirds of stand space at the new venue has already been sold!

Leeds is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city named by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 must visit European cities. The city offers a range of amenities and entertainment such as galleries, museums and theatres and is home to a diverse range of commercial enterprises. Channel 4’s recent announcement of its relocation to Leeds from London is testament to the city’s vitality.

Vendex North’s new home in Leeds means Jenny and Phil are looking forward to engaging with new and wider audiences at future shows.

“When we made our first visits to The Centenary Pavilion, we were surprised and delighted by what we found. Vendex North 2019 will offer exhibitors and visitors ground floor access, purpose-built event space with higher ceilings and wider aisles and ample free parking. We look forward to welcoming both new and familiar faces to our new venue.”

The Centenary Pavilion at Leeds United is conveniently located adjacent to junction 2 of the M621 and is two miles from Leeds train station.
