Ferrero and Planet Vending – And The Winner Is…

Strictly between you and me, the Ferrero results are in!

Some lucky operator will be announced next week as the randomly picked winner of a special Vending Box from Ferrero, together with a definitely-not-to-be-sniffed-at prize of £500 worth of High Street vouchers. Will it be you who dances off with the dosh?

Hopefully, you’ll be at Vendex on 13th November – because that’s where Ferrero are hoping to make the presentation, with full coverage (and your smiling face) in Planet Vending shortly after. Dare you miss it?


It’s pretty safe to say that Ferrero are over the moon with the results of Planet Vending’s first major competition on behalf of a major brand.

To recap, we were looking for operators to order at least 30 cases during September and those who would not only received a complementary vending sample box but were entered into a draw to win the vouchers.

Ferrero reported to us that this was the second highest month of sales to the vending sector through Automatic Retailing ever*. Considering the objective was more about engagement and awareness, this was a real bonus.

From our point of view the competition ads enjoyed an impressive 64501 views, with 162 clicks to the competition page – which indicates to us that PV is being read, and there’s a desire for this kind of content on the site.

We hear there’s another promotion round the corner, so watch this space!
