Vendex North opened the doors at its new Elland Road Centenary Pavilion venue on Wednesday and was buzzing from the start.
Kick-off was marked by the exclusive launch of Westomatic Vending Services’ new Autorista premium coffee vending machine to rapturous applause. “Launching at Vendex made complete sense for us,” said Andrea Goswell, Commercial Director at Westomatic. “We have been very busy on the stand. It’s great to meet decision makers at the show and we have sold several machines today.”
Feedback from both exhibitors and visitors about the new venue has been positive. “What a show. What a Vendex! Vendex has always been a great one-day format trade show exhibition but this year in its new home of Leeds it excelled,” said Craig Jukes, Sales Director at Evoca Group.
Lots of special offers and deals were available to visitors on the day and exhibitors showcased a number of new products and services at the show. RDS brought their expertise in accessing R&D funds to the Vendex community for the first time and Fintech company SuzoHapp presented its latest remote management software to visitors in another Vendex exclusive.
Vendex 2019 Show Director Phil Reynolds comments: “The decision to move to a bigger venue has definitely been the right one. There was plenty of space for meetings both on and off stand and orders were placed on the day, demonstrating that Vendex delivers on its promise of being the place ‘Where the Trade Buys’.
‘I look forward to welcoming everyone to Vendex Midlands in Milton Keynes on 21 April 2020 and look forward to seeing faces both familiar and new at our brand-new show, Vendex Scotland in Glasgow on 9 June 2020.”
