Visiting ARN At Vendex North? Pack Your Hard Hat – You’re Going To Need It…

You can put your house on it: one of the busiest stands at any edition of Vendex is the one manned by ARN – Automatic Retailing Northern.

Why? Well, as the industry’s undisputed Number One wholesaler, the UK’s busy vending operators can discover, touch, feel and taste the latest products – in one place.

At Vendex North, more than ever, you’ll need to pack your hard hat if you’re planning to visit John and his team and that’s because ARN will proudly be showing a product for which the vending industry has been clamouring… An affordable bio-degradable cup.

There’s nothing new about biodegradable cups; they’ve been widely available for some time now. The thing that’s put operators off using them has, of course, been cost. Typically, 1,000 bio-degradable cups would cost almost double the price of their less eco-friendly counterparts; but the cup that ARN will introduce at Old Trafford promises to be ‘much more competitive’.

It’s probably still too dear to make a hole in the cheap end of the market, but for blue-chip businesses, for whom CSR is a priority issue; for government sites, for colleges, universities and schools, the new cup is going to tick a lot of boxes…

There’ll also be some exciting new snacks and drinks on the AR stand at Vendex, together with some hard-hitting promotions designed to drive sales of established brands. Into the first category comes everybody’s favourite coffee accompaniment, Lotus Biscuits. ARN will also be introducing FRIJJ milkshakes from Muller and an exciting range of low-calorie vitamin drinks from VIT-HIT.

The Big Brands making a splash at the ARN stand are Grenade and Ferrero. So, sharpen your elbows and set your internal sat-nav for Stand C12. It won’t be easy, but it’ll be worth it.
