Venditalia Is Confirmed: The Event Will Be Held In May As Scheduled

Venditalia Is Confirmed: In response to mounting speculation centred upon the Coronavirus epidemic that has seen towns in northern Italy out into quarantine, Ernesto Piloni, Venditalia’s President, has issued the following statement.

Venditalia Is Confirmed
Ernesto Piloni: ‘We assume that in May everything will be back to normality.’

Dear Exhibitors and Visitors of Venditalia,

In the last few days, I have been receiving many information requests about the confirmation of Venditalia event, which will be held in about three months: from 20 to 23 May 2020.

The situation seems to have “gotten out of hand”: panic has spread much faster than the epidemic, but I am convinced that, in a few weeks, common sense will help restore order and normal activities.

You will agree with me that if in three months’ time there is still a health hazard, the problem would be enormously greater for the national and international economy and for us as individuals than for the fairs.

At the moment, we assume that in May everything will be back to normality. Rescheduling our trade show would be extremely risky and potentially useless.

Many other great trade shows in Italy, such as Vinitaly and Cibus, had their dates confirmed, in April and May. Furthermore, the famous “Salone del Mobile” fair in Milan has been postponed by only two months: it will take place in mid-June.

So, I would like to inform you that Venditalia Is Confirmed and we that we will do everything to make it the best event ever, because it is essential to support the economy of our companies, especially in such a complicated moment.

In conclusion, displaying the excellence of the vending sector at the fair in May means giving an important message to the markets and offering a great opportunity to the whole sector.

#venditaliadoesntstop #milandoesntstop

Sincerely,

Ernesto Piloni

Let’s hope Sr. Piloni is right. We very much hope to see you in Milan…
